Did you know that Russia's defence budget for 2017 was barely 61 billion dollars?

It is actually less than the increase in the defence budget of the US that was raised to the astronomical amount of 700 billion.

Yet, I note some western sites refer to "Russia's huge defence budget."

Approximately 1/12 of the US budget and less than 1/20 of the NATO budget, which is being increased after pressure from Trump, to some Western media outlets is considered "huge" from a country that has been surrounded by US and NATO bases, yet still being referred to as "the aggressor" and "a threat to the 'free world'"

Unless people start using their common sense and make these simple comparisons based on publicly available facts, they will continue being taken for fools and given "their" opinions by others.
